VERONNEAU's Blue Tapestry is a very special show which celebrates in stories and songs the women who defined the 1970's with their milestone albums, Joni Mitchell's Blue & Carole King's Tapestry. Two iconic musicians, and two iconic albums which put women front and center as composers and performers. 

Audiences have sung along to the classic songs, and enjoyed entertaining stories which highlight the era, the songs and the genius of these two groundbreaking women.

THE FRENCH AMERICAN SONGBOOK

Veronneau's unique show is full of surprises and great music. Songs you never knew originally came from France...and some French songs you never imagined came from the American continent. 

Featuring songs like La Vie En Rose, Autumn Leaves, Je Ne Regret Rien, Beyond The Sea, and even Pink Martini's Sympathique all make an appearance in this bilingual show which can be presented in English or French. 

From the classic age of French chanson the music of Edith Piaf, Charles Aznavour, Trenet, and guitarist Django Rheinhardt. French flair, latin rhythms combined to delight. 

ANTIDOTE RECORDS & EVENTS

Antidote Sounds is a project  to support the musicians and music lovers of the Washington DC area. It  began as weekly radio program presented by Lynn & Ken featuring world, jazz, folk, and traditions music, with artist interviews, and live in-studio performances. 

After a run of 8 years the radio program is no more, but Antidote Sounds has emerged as a boutique record label, and events organization. In addition to curating two annual month-long Passport Music Festival in Falls Church, VA, Antidote, is also behind outdoor festivals in Mclean VA and Georgetown. 

Ken also lectures on the history of DC popular music from 1800 to the current day at Smithsonian Associates, American University, George Mason University and selected venues, including brewerys, around town.
